    Quality product and excellent customer service.

    I’m very pleased with my ice bath purchase. Firstly the customer service was first rate. Calls returned with a very helpful attitude.

    I’m impressed with the quality of the product - the inflated ice bath is solid and the chiller works exactly as it’s supposed too. I’m looking forward to many years of use. Thanks!!!

    I recommed Primal over Vital +

    This is the second ice bath i’ve had in the last 12 months. When making the first purchase (with another brand) i got lured in by lower prices and literally paid the price, the ice bath started leaking within the first 2 weeks and the customer service refused to replace instead insisting i patch it up myself, which didnt fix it. I was hesitant to buy another similar looking ice bath but after reading the other reviews on this website and speaking to the sales team i got one off primal. Despite the fact these products look similar online the primal tub is a lot more solid and the overall quality is clearly higher. Very happy with the current setup been using it nearly everyday for the last 3 months and feeling on top of my game mental. Highly recommend.

    Great advice and product- 5 stars

    It's a great product works well and keeps the temperature as per the app. The after sales support was great and appreciate all the help from Nick and Jo, my mate bought the vital Plus ice tub and the tub is a lot more flimsy and not as sturdy.

    The after sales service definitely sets primal apart as they've been amazing and answering any of my questions the only feedback would be that the tub was a bit delayed which understanding is outside of their control given the circumstances.

    Overall a great product, good sales process and approach, wasn't to pushy and the guys knew their stuff in terms of their product and it's competitive advantage

    Addictive

    I bought the ice bath for my teenage sons and their sporting recovery. Little did I know how amazing it would be for me. As a 50 year-old dad, I use the ice bath daily, 10° up to 5 minutes and when you get out your body is on fire (in a good way). It charges your entire day and is just as good in the evening.

    Great product, excellent support and follow-up when I had queries.

Primal Ice Chiller

The #1 Water Chiller for Ice Bath

Power usage:
Don’t worry, the chiller will not break the bank and rack up high energy bills. It uses the same technology and compressor your fridge/freezer at home uses, which is extremely economical. The exact power usage varies based on climate etc., but expect to spend around $0.5 – $1 per day in electricity (15–20 times less than buying ice if you plunge regularly!).

Cooling & filtration:
Brings your water down to as low as 3°C, and is equipped with 24/7 water flow and in-built filtration to keep your water crystal clear at all times.

Indoor/Outdoor use:

03 Is the Ice Bath & Chiller Waterproof?

Yes—our ice baths and chillers are IPX4 or IPX5 rated, engineered to be water- and weather-resistant.

Standard precautions should still be taken with any exposed electrical components. We recommend covering your chiller in extreme weather.

04 How much does it cost to run?

Our chillers are the most powerful, reliable, and efficient on the market.
Average cost: Around $0.50/day, based on hitting the lowest temp.

Daily cooling time:

  • XPRO: 8–12 hours
  • PERFORMANCE: 3–4 hours
  • ICE: 2–4 hours

All models feature mobile app control - activate only when needed to cut power use.

Once your set temperature is hit, the system shifts to standby and only reactivates when it drifts ±2°C (4°F).

We use the highest-density insulation for all our baths. Reducing the load on the chiller, keeping your water cold and your power bill low.

05 How often do I change the filters?

The internal filter simply needs a weekly rinse—no replacement required. The 20-micron external filter (included with the Performance chiller, optional for XPRO) should be replaced every 4–8 weeks, depending on usage.

06 Which chiller is right for me?

XPRO Chiller

A supercharged 0.3 hp unit that outperforms our old 0.6 hp after R&D to optimize watt output and efficient flow rate.

Cold-only. Reliable. Solid entry-level option.

  • Time to lowest temp: 8–12 hours
  • Best run on maintenance mode: once target temp is hit, it idles within ±2°C (4°F), then restarts—just like a fridge.

Performance Chiller

1 hp. For those who want faster cooling and heating.

  • Time to lowest or max temp: 3–4 hours
  • 3-stage filtration system with ozone—built for high performers.
