Its 20kg rock capacity delivers intense heat up to 110°C with excellent retention for soft steam. Pre-heat remotely via the Harvia app with precise temperature control for seamless modern convenience.
What is the Primal Ice bath made from, what insulation does it use?
We source the highest quality materials, the inner is 316 stainless steel and the outer is canadian red cedar. Between the inner and outer lies 40mm thick insulation to ensure optimal efficiency and performance whilst maintaining the aesthetic.
What chiller operates the system?
The 2 HP ICE chiller features a high‑output 880 W compressor that can lower water temperature to 0c and creates ice. It also offers app‑controlled operation and an integrated filtration system.
Why is cedar wood desirable for saunas?
Red Cedar contains natural oils that add resistance to moisture and reduce the risk of warping. It stays dimensionally stable, smells amazing and has the rich colour people love.
Is the system energy‑efficient and easy to maintain?
The Primal chillers are designed for efficiency, with daily operational costs around $0.50 and built‑in filtration to keep water clear. Filter changes every 4-8 weeks ensure the system remains low‑maintenance.
