Yes—our ice baths and chillers are IPX4 or IPX5 rated, engineered to be water- and weather-resistant.

Standard precautions should still be taken with any exposed electrical components. We recommend covering your chiller in extreme weather.

Both models come with mobile app control—activate the chiller only when needed, dramatically reducing electricity use.

Once your set temperature is reached, the system shifts to standby mode and only kicks back in when it drifts ±2°C.

All Primal Ice Baths use the highest density insulation on the market - keeping water cold, reducing the load on the chiller.

The internal filter simply needs a weekly rinse—no replacement required. The 20-micron external filter (included with the Performance chiller, optional for XPRO) should be replaced every 4–8 weeks, depending on usage.
